How to Setup Windows Live mail for Clearmail

Open Windows Live Mail

    (Start > All Programs > Windows Live Mail)

    Cancel any wizards or guides that may come up.

In Windows Mail Click on “Accounts” and then Click on the “Email”

Now enter your email address, this may vary depending on your service, you can usually find it on your

    Welcome guide and press next.

    Satellite, Wireless, ADSL and VSDL customers (username)@clearmail.com.au

    Clear Central, Central online Dialup customers (username)@clearcentral.com.au 

And then enter your password and a Display name,

    Note: Display Name is the name that is displayed to the recipients of your email, this does not need to match your account name and examples are;

    Joe Bloggs

    The Bloggs Family

    Blogg Stock and Co

Select the option manually configure server settings and press “Next”,

Satellite, ADSL and VDSL

    Incoming e-mail server type:

    POP3

    Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server:

    mail.clearmail.com.au

    Outgoing email server (SMTP) name:

    smtp.clearmail.com.au

    Outgoing server requires authentication

    Not Checked  

Wireless

    Incoming e-mail server type:

    POP3

    Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server:

    mail.clearmail.com.au

    Outgoing email server (SMTP) name:

    (This changes from town to town, see the below list and select the server for your Clear Town)

    Bega NSW

    mail.bega.clearnetworks.com.au

    Dubbo NSW

    mail.dubbo.clearnetworks.com.au

    All of Tasmania

    mail.hobart.clearnetworks.com.au

    Kendenup WA

    Not Checked

Key in your details as shown below and press “Next”

You will now be presented with a window. Simply click “Finish”
