How to Connect to the Internet using a Dial-Up Connection ( WINDOWS 7 )

 4 Open the Connect to the Internet wizard by clicking the Start button ,    

     click on Control Panel, and go to Network and Internet,

4  click Network and Sharing Center,

4  click Set up a connection or network,

4 Click “Set up a dial-up connection” then click “Next

4 Fill in the following details:

    Dial-up phone number: 0198 333 011

    User name: (Your username)

    Password: (Your password)

    Show Characters: Check this box to ensure you typed your password correctly

    Remember this password: Check if you do not want to key in your password to access the Internet.

    Connection name: Clear Central

    Note: Some versions of Vista will have the “Allow other people to use this connection” check box,

    select this if you see it, you may be prompted for permission to continue, this is normal.

    Click “Connect”, Windows will then test the connection.

4 Once the testing is complete, windows will be connected to the internet,

    You can then setup your email. 

4 You can connect directly to the internet by either clicking on the wireless or wired connection icon on the bottom of the desktop screen 

                ( or )                  

4 Click on Clear Central.
